FAQ

What does C&S Shower Door Specialize In?

C & S Shower Door is a glass contractor, we do not do full remodels but can definitely work with your contractor to get you exactly what you want!

Do Your Shower Doors All Look The Same?

Sort of like a snowflake, no two showers are exactly alike.  Shower Enclosures are, mostly, a very custom fixture.

How Much Is A Shower Enclosure?

Because shower enclosures are mostly custom the price can be just as unique.  Depending on what you are looking for, they can cost $500 up to $5000 or more.  This is why C & S offers free in home estimates, this way you get a firm number based on your actual shower and no surprises when it comes time to pay.

How Do I Get A Free Estimate?

To get your free estimate, just call our office and we will get you on the schedule.

How Do You Notify Me Of The Price Of My Project?

C & S Shower Door has a way of bringing the old school contractor mentality to the present.   Most of the time, you will get a call from Kurt with your price.  It is your choice whether to go ahead or not.  No pressure.

What Is The Process Once I Accept The Bid?

You like the price and want to move forward??.... Ok, once Kurt gets your 'OK' he will get all the technical information together and design your enclosure or glass product to 1/32" of perfection.

What Areas Do You Serve?

We serve the entire Central Coast including Northern Santa Barbara County and SLO County.

How Long Will It Take To Get My Enclosure Installed?

Turn around is usually about 2 weeks, to get it installed.

Do I Have To Pay In Full Before The Project?

Payment in Full is due at completion of product.

What Is Your Reputation?

C & S Shower Door is known as the "picky glass shop" on the Central Coast and we don't think that's a bad thing.  Sometimes, due to our meticulous inspection of glass after tempering, your project may take longer than 2 weeks to install because we found a flaw in your glass.  If this does happen, we will be in close contact with you in regards to a time frame.

How Long Should I Wait To Use My Enclosure Once It’s Finished?

We build our shower enclosures to last.... but we ask one small action (or lack of action), from our customers after installing their unit.  Please wait 24 hours before first use, this allows the silicone to cure and ensures the long life of your new gorgeous bathroom remodel or update.

Do You Bring Samples To An Estimate?

Not sure which type of glass you want? ... ask our office to bring samples when they come for your free in home estimate.  We can help explain all the differences and types of applications based on your specific project!

What Is The Typical Cost of Frameless Shower Door?

Most frameless shower doors are between $1,000 to $2,500
